Haunted Asian Villa 2,997 credits

I do hate leaving anything but a perfect review, but I cannot in good conscience give this room anything above a 3. I don't even know if I can use it. For the price, I was sorely disappointed, and that's putting it mildly. I was looking for a room for my Fatal Frame themed avatar I had put together, so I was very excited when I had found this spooky, Asian style ghost town, but upon seeing it I couldn't help feeling as if I had been hoodwinked out of my credits.

First and foremost, immediately when you open the room, the avatar is standing on a badly rendered image of gravel that you can see where the creator cut and pasted an image three times over. While the roof textures are lovely, and the fog gives off a wonderfully foreboding atmosphere, the textures of the rocks, as well as the walls and floors inside the houses aren't nearly as detailed as I would like them to be. They appear to be the same stretched and badly chosen images used over and over for each new surface. Not to mention on one side of the houses from the outside, a whole wall is missing. This is shown in the pictures on the products page, however, when seen from inside, that wall is completely intact and that is NOT shown. All these small missteps combine to thoroughly ruin the atmosphere the creator seemed to be going for.

I am not going to ask for my money back. That always seemed a little rude to me. And if these problems are fixed, I will gladly leave a much happier review. I really, truly wanted this room to work out. Unfortunately, it didn't.
